Geek Out

To the tune of 'Le Freak' by Chic.

A khaki trench was #1 on my spring 'must haves' list.  This one was on the clearance rack at TJMaxx for $30.  Price was right, but the buttons were falling off and I just wasn't in love with it.  I thought I'd replace the buttons entirely, but when I tried to pick them out at JoAnn's, I couldn't make a decision.

Went home empty handed and finally decided that I could flip the buttons over so the metallic cap (what's it called?) would show.  It was just the thing to bring a little more dimension to the entire jacket.  I loved the result and have worn it nearly every day since.  Amazing the effect buttons have on a garment.

You'll see me wearing it in tomorrow's post.

This is such a cute look Jill!! I love it! And Hooray for TJMaxx - I got the CUTEST raincoat from them - I have worn it almost every day :).

Ps - which GlassesUSA specs are those? I was browsing their site the other day looking for some full frame glasses, but couldn't decide which I liked...

Thanks, Lauren! TJMaxx really is the best. It's dangerous that I have one so close to home.

My glasses are Joey Blue. Not sure if they're still available. I received them back in December. I really like this style. If you purchase from them, be sure to use my discount code: SpoilsofWear
