Greenie, Day 3: Breathing

Breath in (mmmmfff) (Maybe I'm a bit congested?).  Breath out (ahhhhh).  That is sound of one who is NOT wearing a belt.  Maybe it's because I don't have much torso to work with, but the whole belting phenomenon has me in an oxygen deficient state most of the time.  I'm grateful for other waist-defining methods that allows my ribcage room to expand as it should.

I have this little jacket in both light khaki and the muted blue color you see here.  I bought them forever ago (probably 5+ years) at Target on clearance and the cost-per-wear is so low now I think I owe Target a few bucks.  It's such a smart design.  Think of it as a structured alternative to a cardigan.  The tab-button closure hits at exactly the right place and draws the eye in the same way a belt would.  Whoa.  I just went all Stacey London on you, didn't I?  Well, there are worse things, I suppose...

Simultaneous figure-flattery and breathabilty?  Sold.

Jacket: Target

P.S. As of yesterday, Spoils of Wear is on Facebook.  So I'm feeling very exposed and vulnerable and like I want to run away and hide.  Then I remember that there is no running from the Internet (or the future), so I better just get used to it.  Please 'Like' me before I develop a social media complex, k?

P.P.S.  I'm now quite obsessed with Instagram, though I'm not entirely familiar with it yet. Spoilsofwear is the name.  We can be friends there too.

I "liked" you. I feel the same way about putting my blog on FB as well. You were right about this jacket--totally worth it! I love when I buy things at a great price and wear the snot out of them! Such a great feeling (though you may or may not have tuned out the rest of my comment by now due to the word "snot" . . . )

Love this outfit. I am waist belt obsessed but I think this jacket could make me much much happier than those belts ever could.
